Yesterday I spoke in the emergency debate on the situation in Afghanistan, there were some highly moving and well-informed speeches. Virtually everyone agreed that the premature withdrawal by the US left the UK with little other option but to follow. 

The Fosse Way bridge - having campaigned on behalf of a constituent who had contacted me regarding this historic bridge, I was delighted to be informed that it has been listed at Grade II by the Department for Digital, Culture Media and Sport on the advice of Historic England.
