I held two Cotswolds flooding meetings on Friday 22 October, a Cirencester meeting was held in the morning, the 2nd meeting was held in the afternoon in Moreton-in-Marsh.

David Amess was elected to the Basildon seat in 1983 and 9 years later in 1992 I was elected. We have remained really close friends and colleagues ever since, so much so that in August of this year David asked me to interview him alongside Trudy Harrison MP, for his new book Ayes and Ears: A Survivor’s Guide to Westminster.

An opportunity for any resident of The Cotswolds to hear and ask questions of the continued flood resilience work taking place from officials at the County and District Councils, Parish/Town Council, Thames Water and the Environment Agency to discuss ongoing flooding issues.
