The events we have seen unfolding in the Middle East are truly horrific. I join the UK Government in utterly condemning the barbaric terrorist attacks perpetrated by Hamas, against Israel and I support Israel’s right to defend itself in the face of such atrocities, as guaranteed by Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

The visit was organised by National Highways so that the Secretary of State for Transport, the Rt. Hon Mark Harper MP, and the rest of Gloucestershire’s MPs could see for themselves the tremendous progress that has been made on the new road in just a few months.

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on North Korea, which Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP Co-Chairs, and the Institute of National Unification, along with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in London, co-hosted a human rights conference in Parliament this week.
