I will be holding my third Coronavirus ‘virtual’ Question and Answer session this coming Friday3rd April from 3.00pm until 4.30pm when I will answer questions from residents on Coronavirus.

Following the Chancellor Rishi Sunak`s announcement of £330 billion support for businesses and workers to protect the economic emergency caused by Coronavirus, it has become clear that there is considerable confusion over what businesses can claim, how they can claim and how quickly the support can become available. 

As of this morning, Public Health England had recorded 3,269 total UK cases of Coivd-19, with sadly 144 confirmed deaths. In the Local Authority of Gloucestershire there are a total of 15 confirmed cases.

Time restrictions applying to the English national concessionary bus pass scheme in Gloucestershire will be removed from Monday 23 March. Anyone holding a pass will be able to travel for free on all public bus services until further notice.

The first coffee morning was really well received in Tetbury. Cllr Stephen Hirst and I were asked questions for over an hour on a variety of subjects.
