Business Q&A - Virtual Meeting

YOUR OPPORTUNITY AS A LOCAL BUSINESS TO SPEAK TO OUR MP ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT’S ONGOING PLANS TO SUPPORT THE LOCAL ECONOMY FOLLOWING THE OUTBREAK OF COVID-19 VIRUS

Following the Chancellor Rishi Sunak`s announcement of £330 billion support for businesses and workers to protect the economic emergency caused by Coronavirus, it has become clear that there is considerable confusion over what businesses can claim, how they can claim and how quickly the support can become available.

The MP for the Cotswolds Sir Geoffrey Clifton Brown will be holding his second virtual meeting for local businesses to speak to him at the Barn Theatre this Friday 27th March between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.This meeting is aimed specifically at businesses in the North Cotswolds north of Cirencester. This meeting will be videoed and live streamed across social media platforms at https://www.facebook.com/theBarnTheatreCirencester/ with businesses able to contact our MP by phone, social media or email. The meeting will also be live streamed to local media networks

In accordance with Govt guidelines, the meeting will be a closed meeting to protect everyone. Only essential production crew will be in attendance and they will take all the necessary precautions. The purpose of the meeting is for business people in the North Cotswolds to discuss their concerns and possible solutions with our MP. He will then relay them directly to the Government.
