Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP welcomes that almost one in four families across the UK will receive £324 from the Government this month as the latest Cost of Living Payments begin to be sent out today, including 7,000 of some of the poorest families in the Cotswolds.
Following pressure from the Government and our own MP Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, the practice of borrowing by Councils to lend on to others for commercial gain, which has led to many Councils going bankrupt, has been strictly limited.
An opportunity for any resident of The Cotswolds to hear and ask questions of the continued flood resilience work taking place from officials at the County and District Councils, Parish/Town Council, Thames Water and the Environment Agency to discuss ongoing flooding issues.
