On Friday, Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown attended an event held at St Laurence’s Church in Stroud to discuss the future of local government with other local politicians.

He said:

“There was high turnout of interested residents, and we had a very productive meeting.

 “The final submission will be going to central government on 28 November 2025. I look forward to working with all parties and community groups to ensure that we get the optimum local government structure in Gloucestershire to provide our people with the very best and workable services. They deserve no less from their politicians.”
