The Government sets the Approved Mileage Allowance Payments (AMAPs) rates, which are used by employers to reimburse an employee’s expenses for business mileage in their vehicle. 

Owners whose dogs are dangerously out of control are already breaking the law, and the enforcement authorities have a full range of powers to apply penalties.

I welcome that, following rapid increases in wholesale energy prices, the Government has taken action to protect the most vulnerable.

Supporting families and helping parents into work requires a balanced system that provides support for those who need it, but that also ensures a sense of fairness to the taxpayer and many working families who do not see their incomes rise when they have more children.
