“It’s English Tourism Week! My wife and I were very pleased to pay a visit to Adam Henson’s Cotswolds Farm Park to mark Cotswold’s contribution to English Tourism week. Because the weather was so abysmal, most of the animals had run into their shelters, however, we were thrilled to visit the lambing shed where sheep were giving birth and we were provided with a fascinating minute-by-minute commentary. Cotswolds Farm Park has come on leaps and bounds since I last visited many years ago, they have a shop, visitor centre, playground, caravan park, glamping, and holiday cottages. We were given a very warm welcome by Kate, who gave us a comprehensive tour of the business.

“Tourism is incredibly important to the Cotswolds being the single largest industry, employing thousands of people, and bringing lots of investment into the area. I was very pleased therefore to help promote English Tourism week with Cllr Tony Dale. I am grateful to Cotswolds Tourism for organising this trip and for all the work they do to promote tourism in the Cotswolds.”
