I was moved and touched to participate in an NHS call this afternoon, organised by Graham Russel Vice-Chair of Gloucestershire Health and Care Foundation Trust. On the call were over a dozen NHS colleagues who have been working all over the Cotswolds throughout the Covid-19 period.  The dedication and quality of physical and mental health care they have provided to keep us all well is inspiring. It was an enormous privilege to talk first hand to the front line NHS colleagues. 

I ended the call by saying that our weekly claps for the NHS would have been twice as loud if everyone had heard some of the work that was discussed today. The whole county cannot thank the NHS and all the other frontline workers enough for getting us through this period.
