In response to a large number of constituents’ emails and letters about parking in Moreton-in-Marsh, I want to say that I entirely agree with them that parking in Moreton is becoming a serious problem both for the residents and for the businesses operating on the High Street.

As it happens I am meeting the Chairman of the Town Council and Chairman of the Parking Working Group on 7th July to try to promote a way forward.

If it is decided at the meeting that I could play a useful role in bringing all the various authorities together to secure a positive parking outcome then I would be prepared to do that. 

I will update constituents following that meeting.
