A call to all schools in the Cotswolds, Parliament has an excellent Education Centre that offers free opportunities for tours of the Palace of Westminster and a curricula-linked workshop.

I often get the opportunity to meet the schools when they visit which is always great and provides pupils an opportunity to ask me questions about the work of an MP and policy issues they are interested in, which can range from ocean protection to buses!

The dates book up quickly and there is high demand, but schools can sign up for the Education Centres newsletters for more information and notifications of when booking slots go live.

How can schools book their visit?

Bookings can only be made by teachers via the online booking portal, and they strongly recommend schools register and create an account on their bookings portal in advance so they can view and book slots when these go live. Schools will need their postcode and URN to register.
