COVID-19 Q&A at the Barn Theatre

On Friday 24th April between 3.00pm to 4.30pm live streamed from the Barn Theatre, Cirencester Sir Geoffrey will be holding his latest virtual Question and Answer session.

The main focus of this session will be ‘How do we ease the lockdown to slowly restart the economy without causing a second spike in the virus’ and risking more lives.

We need to get the balance right, recognising the demographics of the Cotswolds which has a significant percentage of retired people as well as a large young workforce.  Could certain sectors of the economy go back to work? If so what are your views?

During the live stream there will be the normal Westminster briefing from Sir Geoffrey, followed by the regular Q & A session focussing on restarting the economy safely.

There will then be a new video section with updates from the North of the Cotswolds by Cllr Nigel Moor and the South by Cllr Richard Morgan.

To finish there will two videos of how the Cotswolds is coping with Coronavirus initiatives where we want to disseminate good ideas on how communities and individuals are coping with Coronavirus so that everyone can learn from their experiences.

Please email your questions to  contact@cotswoldspeaks.co.uk or livestream on The Barn Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/theBarnTheatreCirencester/.

The session will be filmed and live-streamed from the Barn Theatre where Sir Geoffrey and the production crew will be strictly adhering to government guidelines on social distancing.
