Geoffrey Clifton Brown Cotswold MP was delighted to attend the announcement ceremony of a new sharing arrangement.

Mr Clifton-Brown said:

“Clearly joint working between local authorities will save overhead costs and help to keep council tax as low as possible, which will be advantageous to everyone. The announcement that the Cotswolds and West Oxfordshire District Councils will share the services of the Chief Executive of West Oxfordshire District Council is an excellent example of this, particularly as both councils are rural and have many of the same issues.”
After the ceremony Mr Clifton-Brown said:

“I look forward to having an excelling working relationship with David Neudegg which will benefit my constituents in obtaining the best value services for the Cotswold District Council.”
