Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown MP was grateful to Robert Courts MP to intervene in his adjournment debate on congestion on the A40.

Sir Geoffrey made the point that the A40 is an important arterial road leading from Wales, Cheltenham and Gloucester through the Cotswolds to Oxford. Sir Geoffrey therefore supports Robert’s plea for the £180 million funding to upgrade the road. Sir Geoffrey made the further point that one way to relieve congestion on this road would be to improve the number of trains and speed on the Cotswold Line by continuing the doubling of the track from Charlbury to Oxford.”
